PROTOMED LTD CONCEDE BIODOSE PATENT INFRINGEMENT LEGAL ACTION  

On the 6th January 2014 Protomed Ltd discontinued their patent infringement case Medication Systems Ltd and others. They have also agreed to pay costs.

"This is great news for us and our customers. There was never any doubt over the outcome of the case following the previous outcomes on their failed injunction attempt to prevent the sales of MultiMeds and their subsequent appeal in the Court of Appeal, where they were told there was "no arguable case on patent infringement."

New ownership at Protomed Ltd has clearly improved its ability to make the right decison in connection with this case.

I fully understand why Protomed did what they did, if we had a competitor that had a product with the potential to have all the same features and benefits as MultiMeds at a fraction of the cost, we'd be worried too.
